World Sleep Day

Sleep is vital to our mental health, as well as our physical health and learning. But devices, poor mental health, stress and work/life commitments all interfere…. leading to a vicious cycle of decreased sleep and decreased mood. This a timely reminder of the importance of getting a good night’s sleep by the World Sleep Society. Easier said than done sometimes! and Psychologists are often consulting on how to improve sleep under difficult circumstances. Ms Karen Gough, Consultant Psychologist, has recently completed additional training on sleep interventions in adolescents. We are grateful to have her advise and expertise in the practice.
